Just wanted to let you all know that I will be in San Diego attending the "Battle of Champions" amateur Muay Thai Tournament in Imperial Beach on Saturday, August 16, 2008. Over 200 fighters from all over the United States will be competing under the U.S. Muay Thai Association (USMTA). All fights will be sanctioned by USMTA. The tournament is a charity event to help raise funds for the H.E.R.O.E.S (Helping Everyone Respect Others) of America foundation. This foundation's mission is to provide disadvantaged and "at risk" children the opportunity to obtain training in the physical and cultural arts of dance, gymnastics, boxing and martial arts. H.E.R.O.E.S. of America is a public charity 501(c)(3) that provides scholarships to underprivileged children enabling them to attend established and recognized studios and gyms.
This event is for a great cause, and your support would do so much for the children we are fundraising for. Together we can help them out of trouble and give them a chance to build a strong future. They are the next generation, so if we can make it a better world for them and help them develop discipline and leadership qualities at a young age, imagine what they could do for others in the coming years.
Myself and ALIAS Fight Wear will be a primary sponsor for the event. I will be a special guest and will make a few announcements throughout the day. I will also be available for meet n' greet, signing and photos at the ALIAS booth. Also, ALIAS Fight Wear will have product available for sale at the booth and will be holding a raffle for free stuff, Who doesn't like FREE STUFF? So, PLEASE COME BY AND VISIT US!!!
