Angelica Chavez defeated Alyx Luck at Duke City Fall Brawl 2

Fight Results:

Not sure what happened to Rosary Califano (scheduled to fight Angelica Chavez) but Chavez ended up fighting Alyx Luck instead at Duke City Fall Brawl 2. Angelica Chavez (3-0) quickly won the match by way of armbar in just one minute and thirty-five seconds into round number one. Luck was luckier (excuse the pun) in her match against Mary Jo Davis (0-1) who she defeated by 2nd round TKO at SD Total Combat 5 just three days later, getting her record up to 1-1.

Nova Uniao fighter Claudia Gadelha (2-0) defeated Ana Levi (0-1) at Shooto Brazil 14. Gadelha won by unanimous decision.

Brandi Hainey (2-2) defeated Yadira "Ya Ya" Anzaldua (0-1) via 2nd round guillotine at Shark Fights 7.

In an astounding upset, Barb Honchak (1-0) had a successful MMA debut at King of the Cage: Horsepower. Honchak defeated former ammy boxer Monica Lavato (4-1) by 2nd round rear naked choke.

And Amanda LaVoy (1-0) defeated Ma'Eisha Lowe(0-1) via unanimous decision at Hook-n-Shoot.

Upcoming Fight:

Stephanie Weber will be making her professional MMA debut on December 5th, taking on Julianna Pena (1-0) at CageSport MMA
