While word of Brock Lesnar's recovery has been off the radar for a while, Lesnar's trainer Greg Nelson spoke with MMA Weekly Tuesday evening about his fighter's condition.  It was said in the beginning that Lesnar was suffering from mononucleosis and would be out of the cage until at least January 2010.  Soon after, more details began to emerge of what was really ailing him and he ended up in the hospital with a hole in his intestine.  The final diagnosis for Lesnar is an infection in his digestive tract called diverticulitis.  Since then, Lesnar has been resting up but Nelson says that he is anxious to get back into training.  "He's real anxious of course, but that's the worst thing you can do, is jump up and start going too quick and then break down again," Nelson said. " It's more of a burden for him to sit at home and not work out, but that's the thing he has to do right now."  As far as how Lesnar is doing, Nelson told MMA Weekly "He's walking around and moving around. He's not ready to jump into that cage, that's for sure at this point. But he's got his new baby, so it's time for him to hang out with his son and his daughter, get some quality time on that end of life."  Not much else has been revealed about Lesnar and his recovery, but a look at Web MD revels that diverticulitis is treated with a liquid diet and antibiotics.  In Lesnar's case, surgery was required due to a pocket of infection forming that needed to be removed.  Also in the world of Brock Lesnar MMA news today Heavy.com reported that UFC is targeting July 2010 as his possible return, with him and Carwin finally fighting for the title.  The July card is set to take place in Massachusetts at TD Gardens in Boston as a centerpiece of the UFC's summer bouts.  More details are sure to emerge in the next coming weeks.  For more on this story and all things MMA, make sure to subscribe to Ashley's page to receive updates.  Also you can follow her on Twitter by clicking here.
