 Claudia Gadelha (3-0) defeated Davina Maciel (2-2) via1st round armbar at Vision Fight on December 20
8-WOMAN TOURNEY UPDATE
As reported last week, there will be an 8-woman 135 lb. tournament for Full Contact Fighting taking place in 2010. The first round of fights will take place on January 30th, with semifinals on March 27 and finals on June 12th. All fights will take place in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and FCF has expressed that they would like the fights televised. Fans who would like to see the fights on HD Net can make their voices heard at http://www.hd.net/contacts.html.
As reported, Jenn Tate (5-1) and Amanda Buckner (11-5-1) are scheduled to compete. Shayna Baszler (9-6) and Kaitlin Young (4-3) have since confirmed that they are also scheduled to compete. More details will be posted as they become available.

UPCOMING FIGHT
The first female fight of the year will feature Melissa Steele vs.Karina Hallinan (0-1) at Long Beach Fight Night 7. Steele will be making her MMA debut.
