21, Megumi intends to stick to her goal of winning the upcoming tournament, and Jessica Aguilar intends to get herself into the upcoming tournament
Japanese MMA star Megumi Fujii, is held as the No. 1 pound-for-pound female fighter in the world. June 10th at Bellator 21 from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., Megumi will be fighting Sarah Schneider at a catch weight of 120.
Sarah from Kansas City intends to upset Megumi’s 20-0 record by winning the fight. Sarah is not a stranger to upsets and is planning on shooting for another. Sarah beat Kaitlin Young in Las Vegas earlier in her career against the odds and again surprised the numbers by submitting Julie Kedzie in 2009.
Megumi is already looking past this fight to the upcoming Season 3 Women's Tournament and plans on winning it.
Jessica Aguilar, who fought last weekend at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, had an impressive KO victory against Catia Victoria. Jessica called out CEO Bjorn Rebney in post fight interviews and let it be known she was ready for the upcoming championship as well. Jessica came to the weigh ins straight from her kids class she teaches at American Top Team to remind Bjorn once again that she wanted a piece of the tournament.
